Tip: You can use any Excel file with Booga for Excel. However, we highly recommend using the Booga Template File for better performance. Other Excel files may still work but could result in much slower data pulls, especially when creating financial models.

3. Sign In or Sign Up

  • Use your Booga App credentials to sign in.
  • If you haven’t registered yet, you can sign up directly from the Booga for Excel interface.
  • You can also use Google or Microsoft single sign-on options.

We rely on Microsoft technology for user authentication, ensuring top-notch security and compliance. We do not store any personal information on our servers, except for your email address, which we use to create your Booga account and grant you access to our platform.

4. Explore the Templates

Once signed in, you gain access to prebuilt templates for selected companies:

  • Financial Models with Valuations
  • Company Profiles (with AI summaries of the latest fiscal results)
  • Template for WACC (Weighted-Average Cost of Capital calculation)

These templates allow you to focus on value-added activities like modeling assumptions, rather than spending time gathering or formatting data.

5. Generate Your First Model

  1. Select a Company (e.g., Apple) from the Booga for Excel panel.
  2. Choose the "Model" Template.
  3. Booga will create a fully functioning financial model that includes historical statements and projected periods (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows).
  4. Toggle Annual/Quarterly Data by unchecking the “Show Annual Only” option to view quarterly details.

The model provides a comprehensive starting point. You can customize your assumptions, expand schedules, or incorporate additional data as needed.
