Account

The Account section provides a centralized hub for managing your Booga user profile, subscription, usage credits, and active sessions. This section gives you a level of control over your Booga experience.

Account Details​

In the Account Details section, you can view and update your personal information:

  • Email Address: View your registered email address (managed through Microsoft Azure AD)
  • Display Name: Customize how your name appears in the Booga application
  • Phone Number: Update your contact phone number

Account Details

Changes to your display name and phone number are saved immediately to your profile. For security reasons, password changes are handled through Microsoft Azure AD.

Subscription Plan​

The Subscription Plan section allows you to view and manage your Booga subscription:

  • Current Plan: View your active subscription plan
  • Manage Your Subscription: Access the Stripe customer portal to manage your subscription, payment methods, and billing history
  • Terms of Sale: Access Booga's terms of sale policy

Subscription Plan

For free trial users, the system displays when your free trial expires. Subscription management is only available in production mode when Stripe is activated.

Usage​

For a given month, Booga provides detailed tracking of your usage credits for both online search and chat functionality:

Online Search Credits​

  • Monthly Usage: View your current online search credit usage
  • Monthly Quota: See your monthly allocation of online search credits
  • Top-ups Balance: View additional online search credits purchased
  • Total Credits Available: See the total online search credits available to you

You can purchase additional online search credits in packages of 2,000 ($20) or 5,000 ($40) plus applicable taxes.

Chat Credits​

  • Monthly Usage: View your current chat credit usage
  • Monthly Quota: See your monthly allocation of chat credits
  • Top-ups Balance: View additional chat credits purchased
  • Total Credits Available: See the total chat credits available to you

You can purchase additional chat credits in packages of 20,000 ($25) or 50,000 ($50) plus applicable taxes.

Active Sessions​

The Active Sessions section displays all your current active Booga sessions:

  • IP Address: The IP address of each active session
  • Location: The city and country of the session (when available)
  • Session Type: Identifies if the session is from Booga for Excel or the web application

This feature helps you monitor and keep track of all devices and locations where your Booga account is currently being used.

Security Considerations​

The Account section is designed with security in mind:

  • Password management is handled through Microsoft Azure AD for enhanced security
  • Active session monitoring helps you identify any unauthorized access
  • Profile updates require authentication
